About Me
My artistic practice began in childhood, shaped by outdoor play in backyards and forests, where imagination roamed and creativity was naturally expressed through hands-on interaction with the natural world.
From the beginning, art has been a space to daydream and compost my imagination, thoughts, and feelings into forms, colors, and shapes.
Living in the Pacific Northwest continues to influence my work through its rich landscapes, diverse wildlife, and dynamic ecosystems. I am drawn to the intricate patterns found in nature, from fractals to repeating forms
visible at both microscopic and panoramic scales. These structures guide my visual language and invite viewers to reflect on the building blocks present in all Earthly life forms.
My experiences working with children and within the disability community deeply inform my perspective as an artist and animal liberation advocate.
Through layered imagery and organic forms, I aim to cultivate attention to detail and reverence for the mysterious universal heartbeat animating all life. My work encourages viewers to notice beauty, expand their sense of wonder, and recognize our place within a complex living world. Through art, I honor our shared existence and explore, with curiosity and hope, the future we are in the process of becoming.
